Rhyme and Reason

I love taking photos. Nevertheless, I tend to handicap myself when it comes to pursuing this passion. I have been saving up for a nifty DSLR, but have begun to snub my simpler cameras in the mean time. It is so easy to get caught up in the idea that bigger is better, especially in New York. I want to return to simplicity so that I can remember that it does not take a $1500 camera to compose a good shot. Therefore I am undertaking a project that many others have done before me: take a photo a day. I walk around with a camera in my pocket all day long, so it shouldn’t be that tough, right?

To help inspire me, I’m going to start out this blog with some photos I’ve taken over the past couple of weeks. Then I will update at least once a week with the photos from the previous days.
